Getting started
Is ReconRecond free to try?
Yes — the Free plan lets you get started at no cost, with no credit card required. You can move to any paid plan whenever you need more sites, technicians or features, or stay on the Free tier.
What devices does ReconRecond run on?
iOS and Android phones and tablets for everyday use, plus a web admin portal for owners and accounts to be made available soon.
How long does setup take?
Most teams are running their first digital jobcards within an hour. CSV import lets you bring in your existing sites, vehicles and technicians in minutes.
Workflow & features
Can different sites have different workflows?
Yes. Each site can configure its own services and sub-services — while the data model stays consistent across the group.
Does ReconRecond integrate with our DMS?
CSV import and export work today. Direct integrations with major DMS platforms are on our roadmap.
How are technicians invited?
From the Technicians screen, tap Add Technician, enter their email and role. They receive a one-tap invite to install the app and get scoped access.
What happens if a technician forgets to clock out?
ReconRecond distinguishes job time from paused time. Forgotten clocks are flagged on the job summary so a manager can review and adjust before close-out.
Security & data
Where is our data stored?
On enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each dealership group is isolated.
Who can see what?
Role-based access by default. Owners see everything. Site managers see their site. Technicians see jobs they're assigned to. You can customise from there.
Can we export our data?
Yes. CSV export is built in, and on paid plans we can provide a full data export at any time.

Do you offer group pricing?
Yes — Enterprise is built for dealership groups with custom limits and a dedicated success manager. Talk to us.
Can we cancel anytime?
You can cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the current subscription cycle. Except where required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable for the current subscription cycle.
